Qualifications

Since 2004, the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain (DSWA) has offered an accredited Craftsman Certification Scheme, in conjunction with Lantra Awards. This gives trainees the opportunity to gain a vocational qualification in dry stone walling at Level 1 (Initial), Level 2 (Intermediate) or Level 3 (Advanced).

Here in Dorset, we regularly run Level 1 (Initial) and Level 2 (Intermediate) assessments and preparation sessions.  Our assessments are held in August or early September at our dedicated-site at Tyneham Village, 5 miles from Wareham, Dorset.

These qualifications are also available through the wider DSWA branch network and a number of colleges throughout the country.

Please view our Events for details of forthcoming  assessment preparation and certification dates.
